The boarding house is quieter than usual this term due to lockdown but for those students still present, boarding life is continuing as close to normal as possible.

With all lessons now back online, our boarders have once again adapted to remote learning and are following their full timetable from the comfort of their own rooms.

Extra-curricular music lessons are also taking place virtually with many of our boarders continuing to excel at their saxophone, violin, piano and singing lessons.

As walking to and from the Sixth Form and team sports are no longer a part of day-to-day life our boarders are being encouraged to take daily exercise including a run or walk, playing sports together at the Senior School sports hall or taking online fitness classes to ensure they're staying active and looking after their mental and physical health.

After a day of hard work in their lessons the boarders like to relax and catch up with each other in the common room. A game or two of chess is always popular!

Everyone deserves a treat at the end of the week so Saturday night is takeaway night. Our boarders recently enjoyed a Chinese and pizza takeaway whilst relaxing in the common room.
