inspire meQuiz a Cambridge professor, engage with an entrepreneur, learn from a CEO’s experience or be motivated by an Olympian at an 'inspire me' event.

The 'inspire me' talks bring in individuals and groups to the Stephen Perse Foundation to share their fascinating careers and life stories, inspiring students to think differently.

These talks run throughout the school year, both in the sixth form as 'inspire me' sessions (for Years 11 to 13) and in the Senior School as 'Inspire and Guide' sessions (for Years 10 and 11).

Our visiting speakers address the big subjects: technological, scientific, political, economic, historical, cultural, artistic, ecological and ethical. They are people who communicate the excitement of working in their field, whether that's business or cosmology, and share their ideas on motivation, leadership and teamwork.

Some sessions provide practical, how-to advice; others challenge the accepted norm, provoking thought and encouraging debate.

"Thank you for this evening's 'Inspire me event'- a fantastic evening. Heidi Thomas was an inspirational speaker who engaged perfectly with the audience. Her stories were beautifully told and really kept us all gripped. It was a great talk and fitted the title of 'Inspire me' perfectly!"
