Directions to Dame Bradbury's
 

Directions to Dame Bradbury's School and Nursery

From the north (M11)

  • Leave the M11 at Junction 10.
  • Take the A505 to Haverhill/A1307/Saffron Walden.
  • Go straight over one roundabout.
  • At the second roundabout take the third exit onto A1301 (there is a McDonalds on the corner).
  • Follow this road (which becomes the B184) for about six miles, going straight across five mini-roundabouts.
  • You will arrive in Saffron Walden.
  • As you go slightly uphill take the first (sharp!) left turn into Castle Street and follow the road up.
  • At the end, turn right onto Castle Hill (B1052) and at the mini-roundabout take the first exit onto Ashdon Road.
  • Dame B’s is about 650m on the left.

From the south (M11)

  • Come off the M11 at Junction 9. (A11 exit to Newmarket/Norwich).
  • Follow the exit for Junction 9a, which is the A1301 exit to Cambridge/SaffronWalden/B184.
  • At the bottom of the slip road take the third exit onto A1301, which becomes the B184.
  • Follow this road for about six miles, going straight across five mini-roundabouts.
  • You will arrive in Saffron Walden.
  • As you go slightly uphill take the first (sharp!) left turn into Castle Street and follow the road up.
  • At the end, turn right onto Castle Hill (B1052) and at the mini-roundabout take the first exit onto Ashdon Road.
  • Dame B’s is about 650m on the left.
