From 1 September 2022, fees per term at our nurseries, junior schools and senior school are:

Please note: Fees for our Nursery & Early Years, Junior Schools and Senior School include school lunches.

Morning break snacks will be provided at Dame Bradbury's for pupils in Years 1 - 6, at a charge of £0.50 per pupil per day. 

Registration fee

The registration fee required at the time of submitting an application reflects the costs incurred by the Foundation in administering the admissions process before the offer of a place is made. This fee is non-refundable.

  • Nursery and Kindergarten: £100
  • Reception: £200
  • Junior Schools - Fitzwilliam Building and Dame Bradbury's: £200
  • Senior School: £200

Acceptance fee

The acceptance fee is payable when an offer of a place is accepted by the parents and reflects the administrative costs incurred by the Foundation in preparing for new pupils to join the Foundation, including induction arrangements. This fee is non-refundable. 

  • Nursery and Kindergarten: £100
  • Reception: £300
  • Junior Schools - Fitzwilliam Building and Dame Bradbury's: £300
  • Senior School: £300

Refundable deposit

The deposit is payable when an offer of a place is accepted by the parents and is held as security by the Foundation. The deposit is refunded when the student leaves the Foundation, or in the event that the student fails to meet the entry requirements to join the Foundation, in accordance with the Foundation's Parent Contract. 

  • Reception £500 refundable deposit
  • Junior Schools - Fitzwilliam Building and Dame Bradbury's £500 refundable deposit
  • Senior School £500 refundable deposit

Stephen Perse Sixth Form

From 1 September 2022, fees per term at our Sixth Form are:

Please note: Day fees for the Sixth Form include a kitchen charge but exclude food costs, as students are asked to pay for meals as taken. Boarding fees includes all meals taken on a full board basis.

Flexi-boarding fees

From 1 September 2022, fees per day for flexi-boarders at our Sixth Form are: £75.00 per night

Boarding fees include all meals taken on a flexi-board basis.


Payment of fees

All UK fees are payable by Direct Debit through one of the following methods:

Annual in advance

At its discretion, The Stephen Perse Foundation offers parents the option to pay the full year’s fees in advance. We will give a 0.75% discount on the annual tuition fees if these are paid in full by Direct Debit before the 25 August 2021.

Termly instalment scheme

At its discretion, The Stephen Perse Foundation offers parents the option to pay a particular 
term's fees by instalment under our termly instalment scheme. No administration charges, interest or other charges are included in the termly instalment scheme.

Direct Debit

All fees not paid under the annual in advance or termly instalment scheme are to be paid in full by Direct Debit before the first day of each term.

Additional costs

Public examinations
 
School Fees exclude charges made by qualifications awarding bodies for public
examinations. These are charged separately and added to the summer term bill.
Music 
Our students can take part in music lessons with individual members of the visiting music staff. These are ten 40-minute lessons and will be charged at £270 per term for the academic year 2021-22.

The Stephen Perse Foundation has some school string and woodwind instruments which may be available to hire, subject to availability.

Instruments can be hired at a cost of £25 per term, or £27.50 per term for cellos.
Foundation Transport Services 
Foundation transport services continue to operate to and from our school from various locations around Cambridge and Saffron Walden. These are charged separately on a termly basis.
Speech 
Speech lessons are available at the Foundation. Ten 40-minute lessons in a group cost £135, and individual lessons cost £270 for the academic year 2021-22.
Early and late stay charges
 
Early and late stay charges are applied at our Junior Schools as follows:
  • Early stay from 8am – no charge
  • Breakfast Club: 07:30 hrs -8:00hrs - £3.00
  • Late stay (Years 1 & 2) – £1.75 for each 15 minutes from 16:00
  • Late stay (Year 3-6) - no charge up to 16:30, £1.75 for each 15 minutes thereafter

Charges that need to be made after 18.00 will be £10 per 10 minutes or part thereof.
